Obviously it will never be accurate but i thought it'll fun to see who comes close in this regard. Who do you guys think will be bought in and leave the first team. For me in: yann m'vila olivier giroud clint dempsey an attacking midfielder matias suarez goal keeper promoted: joel campbell benik afobe out: rvp djorou arshavin vela bentdner denilson squillaci fabianski mannone chamakh park
In M'Villa Llorente Dempsey Gordon Back-up CB Put Denilson B52 Flappy Mannone Squillachi Djourou Park Chammy Vela Arshavin 2-3 Youths/Reserves
interesting to note you think rvp will stay yet we will get llorente and dempsey. Do you really think we will spend that much as llorente will cost round about £25mil?
In: Another small CM or striker that Wenger then plays on the wing. Out: RVP Walcott (if he has a good Euro's) Djourou All the main deadwood will be kept.
haha depression does seem to be the order of the day. However i am confident we will get olivier giroud, yann m'vila and probably clint dempsey....sorry for the relative optimism guys!
Read somewhere that Nigel de Jong is on AFC radar, surprising to see a Player with exactly what is needed even mentioned. Makes a nice change. As for RVP, if he stays at Arsenal he is a mug. Last chance to move to a Club who play at the business end of the Premier League/La Liga & Champions League, and massive riches at stake. He owes AFC nothing.
Nothing? What about all those injury plagued seasons in which we stood by him 100%? Does that count for nothing?
Ignore the troll I noticed on Arsenal.com that there is a piece on RVP, talking about the striker fulfiling his potential in his first injury free season. Maybe I'm reading too much into it, but I definitely get the sense that Arsenal feel that he owes us more than 1 decent season. I think he will still be an Arsenal player next season, regardless of whether he signs a new contract.
that may possibly be true but do you think that will be beneficial in the long run. For the impending season it will definitely be a boost...but willl he be motivated and he will leave for free the following season. I know i may come across as anti rvp but i've just been very disappointed in him. I would have thought he would be the first to sign a new contract after all we have done for him. I understand ambition but loyalty has got to count for something!
IN Podolski Capoue Out v. Persie Bendtner Vela Squillaci Fabianski Promoted Campbell Martinez Ozyakup
And I'm not happy with that but two wrongs don't make a right though what arsenal did with pires does not compare to what Rvp may do to us. Substituting him in a cl game may have obviously hurt but it's not like we kicked him out of the club. All the same I'm not happy with what happen but you can't expect me to stop supporting arsenal in that basis.
If you are talking about the CL final, then that makes no sense. We were down to 10 men without a GK and Pires had to be sacrificed for us to bring on a GK. We gave Pires plenty of respect and he is an Aresnal legend, I have no idea what you mean by we showed no loyalty to him.
