Now we're Chelsea and we aren't the most liked team but who do you like beating the most or which rival do you dislike the most? I'd say our main rivals are Spurs, West Ham, Liverpool, Leeds and Millwall with our other rivals being Cardiff, Arsenal, QPR, Man United... (all in no particular order).. I love beating Spurs... It's a rivalry which has always been around but to some Spurs fans, we are becoming their main rival. A City fan said that before the game between Spurs and City, most of the Spurs fans he talked to said they hated us more than their North London neighbours... So Spurs for me but beating Leeds is special as well. Being at Elland Road for the 5-1 was amazing and it was a proper rivalry that is needed back in the prem imo. Wins against Liverpool and West Ham are always nice as are ones v Millwall but the two I mentioned are my favourites... I do really dislike West Ham though... Find their fans are farking annoying bunch tbh!
used to be arsenal then man u but now that we have risen above arsenal it has to be man u and then spurs and arsenal joint second
Arsenal by a country mile. Seen us beat the others often enough. If you'd said team I least like losing to its a toss up between Spurs/Leeds/West Ham
I only consider Spurs, Leeds, Arsenal and West Ham rivals. To me, the others aren't but they may well consider us rivals. I don't know.
Well QPR consider us rivals... Millwall goes back and i'd still call them a rival... Cardiff is more hooligan related... You wouldn't consider Liverpool one?
Millwall is a complicated one. Cardiff is purely Wales v England. Nah Liverpool v Chelsea was a Sky architected rivalry IMO. Just down to the teams playing each other so often and antipathy between Mourinho/Benitez. It briefly replaced the Leeds rivalry. Not had the same edge since Mourinho left the first time really.
Agree. Now Liverpool don't play in Europe any more our rivalry is not important. They are not a top 4 club so they are not rivals these days. United are rivals purely because we have shared domination of English football with them since Roman arrived. Chelsea fans don't hate United. We hate Spuds Leeds and hammers though. We hated Arseball for a while purely because they always beat us. Now that we always beat them the antipathy has faded. They can't even boast they are the best run club in the world these days so they are not even annoying about that now. They don't win trophies either so they have ceased to be an annoyance
