Just been to the stadium and picked up tickets for me, my friends and my dad. Which made me think who do the posters on here go to games with? Always the same group of people on your own? With your son? Brother sister? And whats your routine. Im usually with my dad who is "far to old" (lazy) to walk even though we live within easy walking distance. So we bus it up to the stadium usually with time for him to have some wine and me (Im 15) to have a bottle of coke and maybe a Pie if i've woken up late and have had no lunch. We both are very vocal of our opinions in a match me more so and we'll both have a sing song every now and then. Its totally 50/50 whether we buy a programme or not and also depends on whether he has his glasses with him, that and his height represent the butt of many of my jokes! We then walk home as neither of us can be bothered to wait and then squeeze onto a bus. When I'm with friends its much the same with more walking, food and slightly SLIGHTLY (I'm a well mannered lad) more colourful language. What about you lot!?
On my own. Used to buy 2 season tickets for me and my son, but then he started missing games so I gave his up. The first year I bought just one, he said, 'Are we going to share it.' 'Think again,' I said, so have come on my own ever since. He plays football on Saturdays, but he may come if I buy him a ticket, but he still won't sit with me. Too embarrassing I think.
Any combination of me, my son, Mrs Fodder, my brother, his eldest son, my best mate, his son and his daughter. Sometimes all, sometimes just one, rarely go on my own though. This is the reason I don't get a season ticket!
I go with my 10 year old son and my Dad. We have STs for first time in years. Fran, you come and sit with me and my Dad (I'm not being nice, it'll just save me talking to him)!!
Go with my girlfriend, nephew and my mum, season ticket for everyone but my mum who more or less goes every game but couldn't afford a season ticket.
I had a season ticket last year and i went with SaintsFan4Life (both 16), his dad and brother. I couldnt get a season ticket this year because i mooved but i go to everygame i can with them
With my older sister, my niece, and her two young sons, who were converted from Arse and Manure fans respectively.
A huge mix which changes as frequently as saints starting XI between cup and league matches. Have a season ticket but it's no hassle to move the seat around to different areas depending on how many people I go with. When I can I get all of my football squad to come down to SMS. Cortese should bring in 'introduce a friend' benefits!
I started going with my old man, he wasn't really into football but has since developed a keen interest in the Saints. He constantly texts me asking for updates. My brother came over to his first match the last game of last season and now he's seriously obsessed, so I don't have to rely on my dad being available all the time but he is still looking to go over again soon. Middlesborough at home next month my bro and I are going. I met a guy in Belfast who supports the Saints and it turns out we went to the same school, him and his girlfriend came over to Walsall at home with us too. I started an NI Supporters club so hoping to get some interest that way but even if its just two of us we'll keep the flag flying high. I'm going to try and meet up with a load of you when we are over.
