I work for a business that players and staff use and that is what the whispers where today! Sorry to say it. Whispers back in early May was that kenny Dalglish is being sacked by Liverpool and Rodgers is the replacement! People Laughed at me now look!
All players are under contract and don't need to be sold. If they want to jump ship they can be put in the reserves and play in Parc Y Scarlets for a season.
If you think about it if Siggy doesn't sign and we do get 5 mil for Rodgers that could be about 15 million for new signings, let alone any other players we sell. Optimistic view?
The money from the Rodgers 'sale' is all well and good but if Jones comes here I'm not confident other players will want to follow suit.

All other things standing pat, we may have lost Sig, but we've also probably lost Caulker. That's going to leave a deficit before we even start the season. When Martinez left we lost goal scoring. As Rogers leaves we're losing a top scoring midfield player, and a center back that's been rock solid for us and made Ash a better player in the process. We need to act with determination to plug these gaps. Plug the gaps and it will show the rest of the squad that we still mean business. First, get a top flight coach - steady the ship, continue the trajectory.
Vorm, Sig, Allen, Williams, Dyer. But I'd be surprised if an of these left, except for Sig who isn't our player anyway.
