Which ever team wins over the two legs is the one in form and so the harder of the two. That said, in a one off match in the final I would rather we played Brighton. Let's hope for a scrappy game with lots of red cards and injuries!
You know, the season is finished and the playoffs are a totally different beast. There's no magic formula. Anything can happen. Hopefully, we play as best as we can, with a good gameplan and lineup. We'll see.
Either wont be easy. Brighton will be on a massive high, esecially if they beat Derby so would probably rather play Derby if we were to get there.
After we dispose of Wigan, we will have no problem beating either. I've waited too long for my day in the sun.
We've beaten Derby, but haven't done so against Brighton, so what does that tell you? Absolutely nothing, anything can happen. Wont matter one way or another if we don't dispatch Wigan..
Can't think about anything but tomorrow's game. Would love to come away from Wigan with a blistering performance and some goals
For my sanity's sake, I have decided that the best team on the night will win. All we can do is hope that is us. As to Wembley, lots of fans are saying they would rather lose the semi's than Wembley. I don't agree with that. I'd love a day at Wembley with 35 000 QPR fans all in colours and fired up for the day. Again, winning is the dream but I think I would enjoy the day even if we lost! Probably strange but there you go. We are all different.
Were you at Wembley when we lost to Oxford and the Spuds? I was, and believe me, Wembley is no place to come second.
Beth, I was there, and I'm almost glad we lost... I'm sure that if we'd beaten them, then the walk back to the QPR parking lot would have been terrifying.
Brighton: Kuszczak, Calderon, Greer, Upson, Ward; Andrews, Forster-Caskey, Lingard; Orlandi, Ulloa, Buckley. Subs: Brezovan (GK), Chicksen, Dunk, Ince, March, LuaLua, Mackail-Smith Derby: Grant; Wisdom, Keogh, Buxton, Forsyth; Thorne, Bryson, Hendrick; Russell, Ward, Martin Subs: Legzdins, Whitbread, Eustace, Hughes, Dawkins, Bamford, Sammon On paper I'd almost say Brighton's team is better.
I think both of these teams have a high chance of choking at Wembley. If we beat Wigan well we will be favourites. And I think we will.
