A real mind-**** in store here.

You've got Chelsea, the antithesis of Leedsness. Home Counties cum West London swagger, those horrible quilted 'Chelsea jackets' everyone's wearing, the rah rah West London accent that's spread to ****ers all over England, the club that inflicted Bates on us and kicked us to pieces in the 1970 cup final, rivalling us for years in the late 60s/70s, the second tier in the 80s an, more recently, the late 90s/00s.

But then you've got Bayern, the Man U of Germany, followed by a legion of scummy arseholes who are proud that they cheated us out of the European title in 1975.

Please help to clear my mind, Leeds fans of not606. This is becoming an insurmountable dilemma.

Chelsea, for the reasons I stated on a different thread. I want English teams to do well in European competitions (except for the scum)

But can you really live with them buying that final trophy to complete their set? The look on Abramovic's face as he gleefully rubs his oil-flecked hands together and grins in satisfaction at having injected so much money into ruining the English game that his club now has the bit of silver he so lusts after?

At least Bayern have built a team within their means, backed by passionate (if ****ish) supporters who own a majority of their club. At least they haven't systematically poached younsters from Leeds like Chelsea did. At least it doesn't feel like one of our major rivals has taken a step ahead of us from big club to colossus by winning the world's most significant footballing honour.

I'm swayed towards Bayern. I like the fact we still kind of have the upper hand over Chelsea.

Good point, although it was Beckenbauer who swayed his decision to get one of our legitimate goals ruled offside, even though no-one had flagged. Still, overall responsibility lies with that **** Kitabdjian.

The bent ref gave the goal until Beckenbauer had a whinge about it and threw his teddy out of bed.

Neither, but if one really does have to win I'd go for Bayern.

I like the way Bayern are red on the poll and Chelsea are blue.

    Isn't the universe lovely sometimes?

Sorry to say fellas, but it has to be Chelski for me. Could conceivably give us 5 in the CL next season, as was the case when Liverpool won the CL a few seasons ago & didn't then qualify through their league position. Anything that helps English sides keep 4 spots in the CL has to be a good thing. Yeah, I know there's plenty of reasons not to want them to win, but bottom line is they're an English team.

Dont think it works like that due to the Liverpool result. If Chelsea win it 4th place doesnt qualify & that would be a real shame for Newcastle (if they manage to hang in there)

Who do I want to win? Couldnt give a crap. Probably wont even watch the final even though that was probably the best two semi finals I have seen in any competition in a while!

Bucks, Liverpool won the competition a few years ago, but they finished 5th or worse. So there was a situation whereby the winners wouldn't be able to defend their trophy. Liverpool appealed & were successful. They ended up playing Kaunas of Lithuania in a open qualifying round. I only know 'cause I was working in Lithuania at the time.

If Chelski do win the trophy & don't finish in the top 4, they will have Liverpool as a prescedent to use in any appeal they choose to lodge.

Bayern!!! Please let it be the Germans. Oh ****, imagine if that thug Terry and his mates parade down the Kings Road with the trophy. Noooo!!!! I'm sad Chelski even made it this far, want England to lose a Chumps Lge spot and go down to just three. It will kick in after next season, so the Toon can still get in for now. How awesome if the likes of Chelski and Arsenal started to miss out on the Chumps Lge dough? Come on Bayern, I really don't want to see Chopper Harris on Sky Sports News telling us how great Chelski are and how he single handedly won them the FA Cup in 1970!!!

    Bayern, without doubt.

I refuse to support any side with John Terry in, that includes England. Horrible man.
