I will try and give it a go..

    Murphy
    Orr Gorkss Perone Borrowdale
    Buzsaky Vaagan-Moen
    Ephraim Andrade Smith
    Hewitt

If anyone guesses the line-up correctly, they have done very well.

Kaspars won't play if he's getting sold.

Won't he try and keep the back four the same? They haven't played together that much. At least for an hour or so....

Very risky if he does. Cant see Connolly playing if he has a virus.

Tricky affairs these first round cup games. They can be blood and thunder scraps with the risk of injury everpresent
(remember Mackie) which is the last thing we need.
On the other hand Taarabt could really do with the run out, while DJ and J need to get in the scoring habit. Bit of s dilemma this one, and remember also this is the only cup we've ever won(meaningful!) so we should treat it with respect.

If I get to see Cookie and/or Rowlands tonight for one last time before they go, I will be overjoyed. It'd be great to see them off.

Whatever side Nelly puts out I hope they do the competition justice. Last season we just threw in the towel. A Cup run is always beneficial I think.

If DJ and Jay are well again, they will play.

I'll not be surprised to see a really strong team out tonight, after the defeat to Port Vale last season. We don't want another youtube video of a fan ranting, do we?

If I was NW I would play a very strong side, don't agree at all with the dangers of injuries . Our first team needs competitive minutes together and I did say we would get into Europe as well as finish 8th .. that means a good cup run. I expect he will play a weakened team which serves no purpose in my mind.. but maybe a strong bench?
We need to stuff Rochdale by 4 goals or more keep a clean sheet to get our confidence sky high again otherwise weakness creeps in.

Wooden, possibly with some additional padding and confined to off-pitch support only.

    In other words, Hulse....

Not sure about the side at all tbh... Can see the guys who put in 90mins sat having a rest, Derry + Faurlin for example.

Would like to see Bothroyd + DJ Campbell even if for only 45mins or so... they need minutes on the pitch together. I'd expect to see Murhy, Perone and Vaagen Moen start.

Whatever side we do put out we really should be getting a result tonight. Rochdale are no Port Vale from last year and tbh our Ressies should find this a stroll.
