Before every game Salut! Sunderland interviews a supporter of the opposing team, sometimes more than one. The hardest bit is finding people and geeing them up to get the answers back on time. You end up with a mixture of great interviews, OK interviews and hardly-worth-bothering interviews. But it's worth it for the occasion gem - Jimmy Armfield was brilliant before the SoL game as was the Telegraph editor, a Hammers fan, before our first game against them. But the winners came from other teams - Arsenal (Tom Watt) followed by Man City & Wolves. internet cant open that web page, thats probs why you dont have any responders up till now, right now.
Bill: don't know what went wrong but this seems to work in case anyone's bothered. I'm never sure how much these things appeal to our fans as opposed to just tickling the tummies of the opposition ones ... http://salutsunderland.com/2011/05/1-arsenal-2-man-city-3-wolves-our-who-are-you-winners/
This entertained me to re-read, as my best mate, or one of, is an Arsenal fan and they always peddle the 'we was bullied' ****e. Funny, as personally i think Chelsea, on form, played better football this season, and that Diaby was **** before he broke his leg. Didn't he break his leg trying to maim one of our lads, incidentally??
