'Arry has been urged to 'name and shame' the spurs shirkers who tried to pull a sick note for England duty.

Jermaine Defoe was said to have been devastated not to be called up for the World cup so that rules him out. Out of the other English players that were at Spurs during Arry's reign I can't think of any that would have been missed anyway.

    Dawson
    Lennon
    Naughton
    Walker
    Parker
    Huddlestone
    Crouch
    Rose

Am I missing any World Class players here ?

I think he's probably had one minor issue in this way and is exaggerating it for publicity purposes. He should put up or shut up.

I think Harry is over exaggerating as a lot of the Tottenham players in the past have been poor and i would imagine they would not take for granted the opportunity to represent there country. Where on the other hand i cant believe nothing has ever been said about the Man United players always getting injured just before the international break and by some miracle they are fully fit straight after it. i think they are the biggest culprits here not the Spuds

You have a good point there - Fergie never was one for letting players go to 'unimportant' internationals. I wish Wenger had been more like it as we have lost a lot of players through injuries in this way.

Personally I think this is 'arry after some cheap publicity. He's more than likely pissed off because none of the TV/radio companies are using the twitching **** for their World Cup coverage.

This sounds about right, Arry is an attention seeker and nobody really gives a **** what he says these days.

To be fair to the Spud fans one of the things they hated about Arry was his big gob and the way that he would publicly criticise his players. The classic 'Sandra could have scored that' quote is Arry at his most indiscreet.

Also as mentioned, I'd like to see Fergie pulled up for the amount of times that Utd players suddenly picked up an 'injury' before England games.

The first two were genuine sicknotes. Bentley was one of those who was heavily criticised for refusing to play for the U21's
