Following on from Nottm F´s clear out yesterday, and as the International break is the sort of time these things happen, who do we think will be the first PL manager to resign or get the sack this season ? No prizes, no points, just out of interest. I´ve given a choice of who would seem the most likely suspects right now, but there may easily be others who fit the bill.

If you happen to vote other, be so kind as to add a comment, and put a name to him.

I'll go with Steve Kean as well but all the problems may not all be his doing.

As Dave says - dead man walking

I actually think it'll be Steve Bruce. He's in a similar situation to Kean, but the key difference is that Bruce's problems are all his own doing. Kean has had little or no money to buy players with while the chicken farmers are running the club like a, well, chicken farm.

Bruce however was given money and bought in loads of players, none of which have proven good enough. He's gone for players who were relegated last year, two Man Utd rejects, an unknown Korean, a binner and Nicklas Bendtner (the best player in the world according to Nicklas Bendtner).

So as much as I hate to say it I do think it will be Bruce who goes.

Not sure why Moyes is in there, but let's face it, Kean is the only name we need in there.

What is it with people called Kean and football management! <laugh>

at five past three on saturday i'd have said steve bruce was a shoe-in seeing as sunderland conceded twice! having said that, steve kean is really struggling. blackburn as a club at the moment stink from top to bottom of a club rapidly descending into total disarray and its not 'if' but 'when' he gets the shove. for me, the owners are the biggest problem there but its doubtful they will leave any time soon - good for us as i think they will finish below us!

My thoughts exactly. I'd say Moyes is fairly safe at Everton, he's working wonders with what he has. Absolutely no money for transfers, and losing Arteta hasn't helped matters. It seems to me that every year Everton have a weaker side on paper, but somehow Moyes manages to keep their league finish respectable. Maybe this year will prove to be a step too far, but I don't think anyone at Everton, and certainly of the Everton fans I've spoken to, blame Moyes at all. The anger seems to be more directed at the board.

Kean looks like a troubled man to me too, a vote of confidence is never a good sign, and the fans seem to want him gone too, what with the sit-in protest at the weekend.

I did see that Roy Kean is one of the bookies favourites for the Florist Job. Brian Clough would turn in his grave....

Some others mentioned were Martin O'Neill and Nigel Clough.

Venkys should have stuck to stuffing chickens rather than Blackburn Rovers! <ok>

WTF do they know about running a football club. I have no sympathy for Kean as he soon accepted the job once they made the baffling decision of sacking big Sam! I don't like Allardyce but no one can deny that he is a top class manager and he didn't deserve the sack at Blackburn in the first place.

I actually put Moyes in there Mr. Marsupial, because, of all the Premier League managers, he would seem to have the most reason to want to resign if anyone did, lack of funds, having to sell his best players etc etc. I wasn´t suggesting he´d get the sack, although their start hasn´t been overwhelming, he always seems very popular with the fans there.

moyes must be sick to death of being everton manager. wonderful club but their ground is a relic, they are skint and he is STILL expected to challenge for top 6 every season! i'm not his biggest fan but you have to say he has performed miracles at that club - i wouldn't put it past him resigning if something else pops up
