Morning peeps, I don't want to start a war with any Cardiff City Fans (respect to you guys) but are we still showing any interest in Whittingham as I think he'd be a great addition and would probably only cost about 10 million in todays "Leicester special" prices! How about Chris Eagles as well whilst we are at it?
Eagles is way too inconsistent. Think Whittingham will stay at Cardiff for another year. Good player though. Are we still interested ? Think the fans are, but whether Sven is - God knows. Think Sven will be concentrating on getting Masilela signed, then bringing a striker in, then looking to seal theloan deals for Vitor and possibly Mee if he can be persuaded. Cant really see past these signings, though if asked, I would never have believed we would pay £5m for a centre half.
Agree with Barwellfox. Masilela on loan plus Vitor and mee loans. Spending the money for the sharp end of the team in Maynard.
Why would whitts go and sign for you, we can probably match any wages you offer him anyway. I know it must be nice to splash the cash, we've been know to do it but seriously, 10 mill for 1 decent championship player last season and 1 decent championship player from 5 years ago. The only thing that raises eyebrows is that you've been ripped off.
