I would expect if toilets were swabbed at Ashton Gate every toilet would indicate cocaine use including the executive areas. The same would occur in the pubs outside of the ground.

Bit naive about some of this stuff and had to ask why its blows a ****ing gale in one south Bristol pub toilets. They also put wd40 on surfaces and now I know!!

There are few times that I'm glad I was born in 1950.
Ignorance is bliss for me that, other than my brother and a few Purple Hearts in the late 60's, bloody drugs has never crossed me and Mrs R.

In my life I’ve smoked a few ‘funny ***s’ in Jamaica and Amsterdam and not enjoyed them. I did it partly through peer pressure and partly through curiosity. I can honestly say it didn’t affect me at the time AT ALL. Everybody else was getting ‘high’ but I just had a nasty taste in my mouth.
After both occasions however I slept like an absolute log!!!

They didn’t appear to have any affect at all at the time - I was quite disappointed - but they did later - they sent me into a VERY deep sleep on both occasions.
First time in Jamaica when I went back to the hotel room and the wife couldn’t wake me up. I woke naturally at 4am feeling perfectly fine.
Second in Amsterdam with some mates, where we were staying in a very lively part of the city. We were all having trouble sleeping with all the noise outside, but that night I smoked the Celestial Ciggie I slept through all the noise like a log. Again, I experienced no ‘high’ whatsoever but I woke the next day feeling great!

I don’t recommend doing drugs of course, but I CAN recommend Amsterdam as a city break - it’s beautiful and there’s so much more to it than the red-light district.
