Bit naive about some of this stuff and had to ask why its blows a ****ing gale in one south Bristol pub toilets. They also put wd40 on surfaces and now I know!!
There are few times that I'm glad I was born in 1950. Ignorance is bliss for me that, other than my brother and a few Purple Hearts in the late 60's, bloody drugs has never crossed me and Mrs R.
In my life I’ve smoked a few ‘funny ***s’ in Jamaica and Amsterdam and not enjoyed them. I did it partly through peer pressure and partly through curiosity. I can honestly say it didn’t affect me at the time AT ALL. Everybody else was getting ‘high’ but I just had a nasty taste in my mouth. After both occasions however I slept like an absolute log!!!
They didn’t appear to have any affect at all at the time - I was quite disappointed - but they did later - they sent me into a VERY deep sleep on both occasions. First time in Jamaica when I went back to the hotel room and the wife couldn’t wake me up. I woke naturally at 4am feeling perfectly fine. Second in Amsterdam with some mates, where we were staying in a very lively part of the city. We were all having trouble sleeping with all the noise outside, but that night I smoked the Celestial Ciggie I slept through all the noise like a log. Again, I experienced no ‘high’ whatsoever but I woke the next day feeling great!
