Hi all,

After a slow news day (compared to yesterday), a little comparison for you:

Which was your favourite pitch invasion?

Sheffield United? (The first proper one in a long time)

Walsall? (The first to celebrate a promotion)

    Coventry? (Return to the Premiership)

Or a different one from the history books?

Walsall, only because it was the first promotion in my lifetime!

The Coventry one!! Loved the sheffield united one as well, Steny John banging it in was amazing.

But the Coventry one was incredible, back to the Premier League! I also hugged Super Kelvin Davis, and touched Jack Cork so it was a great day..

We were stood right behind Kelvins goal from about 85th min onward shouting "we're coming for you, we're coming for yooouu Kelvin Davis we're coming for you" he was loving it!

Personally loved the sheffield game felt the best because it came down to a real climax. I know Coventry was a climax but it was over at 2, whereas in 2008 with 10 men and just a goal up against a great team made staying up and victory so so sweet :D

Sheffield United, because it was a great result, and the others felt like a bit of an anti-climax, seeing as we had pretty much secured it anyway.

Walsall because going up felt more satisfying than staying up and the Coventry one felt a lot like deja vu. Maybe also because the Walsall game was my first for a while after an operation and I really built myself up for it.

Same as INM but without the operation. Promotion is better than survival.

Coventry, after seeing us win promotion I decided it would be fun to race a friend round the pitch, doing that I was tripped up and ended up eating the St. Mary's turf ;)

Walsall because everyone was happy. Their players clambered along the Itchen stand to get to the away enclosure to thank them for their support.
It's not too often I get my hand shaken by an away fan just after the final whistle! But then this year was ace as well. Blimey, it's like choosing one of your children!<laugh>

Sheffield Utd was pure relief. Walsall we were already as good as up after already having a bit of a disco down in Plymouth.

So although we knew that we 95% over the line this time round we still needed to beat Coventry, and it was a mixture of relief and pride when we did it. Great times

Yeah I think the fact they stayed up made it more special as well them singing "You are going up say you are going up!" to us and vice versa was amazing, even outside the ground where I got a massive hug off some 16 stone Walsall fan <laugh>

EDIT: Also loved us singing "Walsall, on the pitch, Walsall Walsall on the pitch!" On about 87 minutes. Great day.

Coventry because I was there, it was a huge achievement to get consecutive promotions, and we started scared that we would blow it. A great day.

Coventry for me and the fact it was shown live on the BBC for the nation to see made it extra special.

Sheff Utd was disaster avoided, so hardly as euphoric as the other two. Walsall was a very special day, but Coventry tops it because it was so unexpected at the start of the season.
