Just a thought about the outgoings this summer, seeing as Johnson, Kilkenny, Naylor and Higgs have all left, who would you like to join them?

Billy Paynter - I think he finds himself at the top of the list of poor Grayson signings. He's just very far out of his depth. I actually can't think of a positive to say about him.

Fede Bessone - He was shocking. 9 games into a 3 year contract and he's been transfer listed.

Alex Bruce - He was great in the game against Arsenal, but that's about his only good performance for us. I can see why Ipswich let him go.

Ben Parker - He's been at the club a while now, hasn't sustained a first team place for that long. He was decent in 08/09 season but has been injured/unfit since then.

Mike Grella - always looks promising without actually doing much. I think he's a very talented player, but his talents been wasted at Leeds.

Bromby/O'Brien - I don't rate either of them. They've both got 2 years left, and are past their best. I can't work out why they haven't played well for us, seeing as O'Brien was a good Premier League CB a few seasons ago, and to be fair he was good in the last few games alongside Naylor.

Kasper Schmeichel - this may not be a popular choice, but he's been linked with a £2million transfer to a couple of Prem teams, and his contract is up next season - IMO he sees Leeds as a stepping stone and won't resign - so sell him and get Westwood in on a free transfer, who's a more rounded goalkeeper I think. Invest the money in the defence.

Agree with what yor saying but too many comings and goings definately disrupts the squad.

These players may not be good enough but many are tied to long contracts and it may not be easy to get rid of them without a club coming in with a reasonable bid

As for Kasper, selling him for 2mil-ish and replacing him with westwood on a free would be a great bit of business but is very unlikely to happen

The obvious choice for money is snoddy...if someone pays 4-5 million and that is invested in the team then would be good business...however it is whether that cash would be invested

It's silly to sell Snodgrass for anything less than silly sums like £6 mill +.

I agree with all of those tbh. Id hang on to Grella for one more season tho, just loan him out or even play him in our cup games that we won win a trophy in (all of them) Grella up top with Paynter will still be good enough to beat a lower league side. I possibly sell Becchio aswell for 2 mil ish as you can see he wont be any good in the prem, could cash in and bring in someone who will be good enough up there, I think we can get promoted this season, if the signings are right

I see no reason why Becchio wont handle the prem. Reminds me of Sheringham with a tad bit more pace.

Agree with all the above, Kasper can go for 2 mil IF we can land westwood. That being said, we are yet to see how good Kasper can be with a top back four in front of him.
