    So its Christmas and a year ago today we were top of the League! and after eventually finishing a close second every one expected us to be well in the top 4 hunt this season.

    A few things have not gone to plan so far this season, and we have had a fair few surprises. But which of these incidents in the poll above would you have thought was the biggest joke had you been told it would happen back in may?

    I think failing to get out the CL group was expected. And sterling being main man after last year would be expected as well.

    The best is Torres actually being an option <laugh>
    How desperate can we get.... Although Heskey is looking for a club so could be worse <yikes>

    Some one made a thread saying we should sign Torres. It was laughed down though.

    About the only one is west ham, this is the only real surprise


    Might I say however, it'd be far better to take a chill pill over Christmas and enjoy that FFs

    Unfortunately i predicted we'd sign balotelli to replace Suarez - you can totally read the minds of the transfer committee on that one.

    Southampton selling us Lovren lallana and lambert and still being above us is the biggest joke imo
