Which one of these out of contract at the end of the season players would you retain?

These 10 players are all out of contract at the end of this season, which one would you retain?

 

If we're talking end of season, why only one? Atm I'd want to retain Hill, Gabbidon, Buzsaki and Helguson.

If it did have to be just one, it'd be Helguson on present attitude and form. Even if we brought in better strikers, HH would be useful cover.

Good question Roller, you always seem to come up with them! I voted for Helgs although I'd like to see Ephraim given a shot too. As good as Gabbidon and Hill have done for us, hopefully next season we will be going up to the next level.

The rest can go with best wishes. And Buz is pants!

 

None, we need to progress further than this next year. These are our squad players for this year, none real first teamers apart from Gabidon. We should be looking at replacing all of these in the next 18 months. Sad to say I know but the likes of Helguson and Hill are going to be pensioners next year.

 

I wanted to vote for Gabidon and Helguson,but hey ho heidar doesnt have a lot left in the tank so my vote went to Gabidon.

 

There is 11 there, we could field a decent championship team from that list.

 

When is Hulse's contract up?

 

I think as squad players Gabbidon, Buzsacky and Helguson if they are at their best would be worth keeping, the rest would need to be replaced with real PL quality.

It don't matter how old you are, if you are doing the business on the pitch thats irrelevant. HH looks like he's just getting better and better, City couldn't handle him. All the pointers right now are that he's good for another season at least, in fact I hope we are looking at extending his contract like yesterday before a bigger club comes in for him. Voted for him of course. Right now I'd want to retain Gabbidon too, and its too early to write off the likes of Dyer, Hill and Buzsaky at the least.

 

champions league after 1 year in the prem is a bit optomistic

 

Gabbidon, Buzsaky, Hill, Helguson and Ephraim. I'd at least want to give Hogan some matches to see whether he has what it takes to make the step up and in the mean time put him on a diet of steak and Guinness to build him up a little bit.

Reckon we will make a saving with some of those players gone, plus an even bigger saving on medical bills on some of the others. I do wonder whether some will be shipped out in Jan to make way for the fingers crossed new players coming in

 

Cannot see anyone taking Vine off of us, he just wants to see his contract out. Hulse should go out on loan to a northern side....where he can get fit and prove one way or other he has what it takes. My mind has already been made up though

I know I sound like a broken record but it just baffles me how many people think Buzsacky can cut it at this level. Someone above said at his best he's worth keeping. When the fu*k was he last at his best? I've lost count how many years ago that was.
