  1. Talent-spotting is a precarious art form, and certainly not as easy as most of us would hope to believe. We have only to consider the example of our very own Dos Santos to realise the truth in that statement. With other players, talent is not the be-all and end-all of the matter, as the example of Taarabt is more than ample demonstration.

So, bearing all of that in mind and pushing ourselves very much out on a limb, which of the players I have listed in this poll do the Spurs faithful consider the most likely to succeed?

I've taken both Sandro and Walker out of the equation, as I think it's fairly safe to say that both of those are fated to succeed, either with us or elsewhere.

    Very tricky choice for me.
I was torn between Caroll and Caulker, though I believe that a number of the other players will also have successful careers in football.
I went for the playmaker in the end, but it was an extremely close call and I'm still not sure that I made the right decision, to be honest.

At least one person must look at the poll and think "Bostock? Who's he?"

I went for Livermore, because to me he's pretty much there, as he's an established member of our first team squad, and has had a lot of game time this season.

Before his injury Caulker was odds-on to make it IMHO, but long lasting injuries always worry me re a youngster's progress.

  5. I've gone for Livermore, too, but that's only because I have not seen enough of either Carroll or Fredericks. From the little I have seen, I like the look of both of those young players.

I went for Caulker, as he's likely to move up the centre back pecking order once he's back from Swansea
