Which leeds players do you think we should sell or drop, and why ? And who do you think we should buy to replace them. I have my own ideas and will give 1 player who might surprise you for selling is Llorente , he is a very good defender but injury prone and always out injured and is no good to Leeds being injured all the time as I said last season , I have more players who I think should be sold and why but want to know from you lads who you think should be sold and make money for bringing players in.

For me Costa because he has failed to live up to his price tag, and I would never buy another player from Wolves.Costa has a level and thats Championship as he got Wolves promoted and then they sold him to us and we got promoted and now need to sell him on and I would take £10m for him which should then be used to add enough cash to buy Noa Lang. Its obvious we have courted him as we spoke to him twice, his agent twice and his club three times. Obviously we dont like the price but adding £10m and Costas wages?

Evening sniffer, or morning if you're still in the swamp.

Llorente is obviously our best defender, so whilst I take your point that a player in the treatment room is not contributing it's still early days and hopefully our medical team can iron out these niggles. Another possibility is he retires from international football, he's hardly featuring for Spain but is still doing all the hard miles by being in the squad.

Fair point about Costa but his assists and goals record last season for minutes played was actually decent. That's just off the top of my head so happy to be corrected if wrong. That said, if we got a decent offer for him it would be difficult to turn down as he's probably reached his full potential and is unlikely to improve much further, although never say never with Bielsa at the helm.

As far as targets are concerned, better to ask who can we afford within our price range, then ask will they be better than what we have . And could they possibly be disruptive influences to the rest of the team or a god send

Actually I'm having further thoughts on Costa.

He's quick there is no doubt about that but is he smart ? Probably not at this stage of his career, however is there the possibility that like Pablo he matures into a different but more meaningful player in the future ?

My take is costa's probably a 'horses for courses' player. His best games for leeds have been when we're hitting sides on the break and he has space to exploit, he lacks the guile to be really effective when we're pressing sides back. He does some really good things and has clearly tried to adapt to the off the ball stuff bielsa demands that isn't 'natural to him'... but lacks the physicality/strength/tenacity on and off the ball to really cut the mustard for the way we play.

Looking at reasonably priced targets and trying to be a bit sensible….

I’d bench Harrison and bring in Dan James I think Bielsa would develop him into something special. My wingers would be James and Raphinha I’d sell Costa, my bench would be Harrison and Summerville. Jesse Lingard is also available for around £20m I’d also have him before Harrison.

Depending on the plans for Gelhardt and his development I’d cash in on Rodrigo, I fear he has been an expensive mistake and we’re trying to make room for him. In his place Nahitan Nandes or Mikkel Damsgaard I’d love to get both as next to be dropped would be Klich. We’ve been linked with a host of good midfield players it’s a shame none developed further.

I’m not adding Tyler Roberts to the list as I don’t think we’d get much for him. Llorente reminds me of Woodgate we defend better with him in the team but I agree he seems to be one of those players who’ll continually be on the treatment table.

We maybe wrong about Llorente because in the whole of his career before Leeds he has only missed 29 games, which is only an average of 3 per season.

However last season he was out with 3 different injuries for a total of 19 games, so missed half the season with serious injuries. 2 groin strains and a hamstring are not quick. The injury he picked up in pre season was impact so he may even be back in full training now but not Bielsafit yet

First team is hard but easy improvements could be made for Klich and Bamford. Rodrigo holds some value if he doesn't replicate late season form from last year. The emergence of Struijk could be enough to release Koch too.

Costa and Poveda could be sold with the emergence of Summerville and the fluidity of Dallas covering out wide.

There's a good 60 or 70 million there. Obviously not all of them but certainly one or two to release funds wouldn't hurt too much.

I'll defer to Mr Bielsa and his opinion though.

This is the thing… It’s so easy to single out one player that looks weak but he might look weak as his role is enabling the other 9 outfield players to do their job more effectively. When he gets it wrong the entire team look out of shape.

Bielsa isn’t a coach who takes 11 worldly players and throws them out to do their thing. He takes 11 players who on paper shouldn’t be good enough but together the big cog turns.

Hard question being so early days but I think the midfield needs a shake up. Klich for me. not to be sold but to be benched and used when the game slows down. Great player when has time on the ball but are the legs still there ?
People may slaughter me here but if Spuds come in with a massive offer but I mean massive for Bamford I'd seriously consider it. But if course we would need a ready replacement also it would free up Rodrigo to play striker.
As coming ins it all depends on the going outs but Bielsa style footballers are not so easy to find or bed straight in.
I watched a few Danish football games over the weekend dues to some bets and there is quality in many countries its finding the right fit.
I'd be a shyte scout though as I would.of recommended about 6 to Orta already lol.

Llorente Is our best defender period.
Hasn't van djik just come back after being out for several months, don't think many scousers would be calling for him to go !!
Wasn't our very own wing wizard Mr gray hampered in his career by persistent hamstring troubles and no one and I mean no one I ever heard called for him to be let go,apart from ol' big head who said he should have been put down in his usual headline grabbing persuasion.
Another mid is needed, but don't see O'Brien as the answer

Bamford's contract ends in about 9 months so unlikely anyone would pay a huge fee when they can have him for free next summer.

Maybe £15/20 million at best I would have thought.

The big lad from Southampton just went to Leicester under similar circumstances for £15m.

I would sell Forshaw (not good enough and injury prone), Dallas (not good enough), Roberts (not good enough), Costa (not good enough) and Bamford (wasteful).

In I would like a LB, 2 central midfielders, a winger and a striker of better quality.

Perraud (LB), Cunha (CF), Berge (DM), Lang (LW) and Neuhaus (CM)
    Maybe Koopmeiners instead of Berge:emoticon-0148-yes:

Yes I'm still in the swamp pattaya , thailand ha ha LOL but might be back uk next month , all true what you say, but there is an added factor with Llorente he was injured alot at his previous club before joining Leeds so I don't think it's just a flash in the pan , we should get him fit playing and before he gets injured again sell him and a few others then we will have enough to get a really good defender that does not have a history of injuries, its still early in the season and we could bed someone else in

I do think Costa also has reached his limit , he is a good championship player , sometimes you can see potential in a player a sudden spark or skill in several games but I have not seen that from Costa in the premier league. Reckon we could get 12m for him.
