Next season Pardew is going to have a massive call to make on the GK situation. With it being the ever reliable Harper, the 'brilliant' Forster or Krul who has started quite a few games this year. I for one would like to Forster get the gloves as he has been great the games ive seen him in, great at the long shots, commanding his box and for a keeper so big he has got good reactions. The reason i'd pick him above Krul is because in some of Kruls matches he has had a few hashes and has alot less exp. Than Forster as well as Forster being a local lad.

Harper next year for me, his last before Krul takes over, unless Forster impresses on loan to a PL team.

Forster all the way for me - Forster has progressed over the last two years (albeit in lower quality leagues). If Harper is to remain number 1 then that is fine as well by me but Krul has to go out on loan - he has stagnated in my opinion and is not getting much better.

Harper doesn't inspire me with confidence. I dont know whether it is his age and cant get down quick enough, but he conceeds so many goals under his body. Krul's kicking early in season cost us massively, but since he has come back in looks more assured. I would loan foster out again, to as good a team as possible.

    Exactly this.

Harper can keep going until he totally gives up to be honest. Krul's looking the better out of him and Forster in my opinion, so I'd prefer him to take over.

Harper, still Mr. Reliable. Even if Forster seriously impresses and Harper becomes 2nd choice I don't think he should lose the No.1 shirt. Krul has great moments but generally speaking I still feel safer knowing Harper's in goal.

Harper then Krul but I would be surprised if Foster takes another loan deal.

Foster has had a successful season at Celtic, ok it's the SPL but he's been no1 at a top team. I think he might want to move on.

  8. Harper or Krul really.

Forster shold go out on loan, unless he shows something in training, because he doesn't look as good in the SPL as Krul does at EPL level.

We should offer QPR or Norwich him on loan.

Harper, he's waited so long he deserves another year! One of the other two to go out on loan, maybe Krul as I'd like to see Forster.

Harps No.1, Forster no. 2, Krul on loan.

Forster/Krul as no.1 next year depending on who looks the best

for me forster, krul in my eyes ispoor, yes he is still learning but look at yesterdays goal, his decision making is ****ing ****, we have conceded a few goals with him either rushing out/not collecting the ball/puncing etc..

harper,no 1 and forster 2 send krul out on loan to a spl/prem club

  14. That's why Krul has gotten motm for 2 out of the last 4 games... <doh>

He's been the reason we've won points against Manure and Blackpool.

He's a class keeper and Forster should go out on loan.

Let Harper/Forster battle it out next season, sending Krul out on a 6 month loan to a Premiership team, or Celtic, and extend the deal in December if both parties want to. Loaning Forster out for a third successive season would be harsh and I'd imagine we'd lose him.

Yeah, how would you feel if you had been loaned out 3 seasons in a row whilst someone else in a similar age brackets was playing for Newcastle?

  17. I couldn't give a **** if it would be harsh of Forster. Harper has been loyal and proven to be a class keeper, he's staying, Krul has been awesome in most of his games and saved us alot of points and is playing well.

Forster has been playing against lower quality with one of the best teams in the league infront of him. Krul has shown his worth in this league.

Krul is too much of a prospect to send out on loan. Forster should be sent on loan.

Im so glad you arent our manager. I think that Forster is a bigger prospect than Krul i.e. The higher demand for the loan moves. Also Krul has looked very shakey in parts this season, nearly costing us the 3 points against Birmingham dropping the ball at Larsons feet. Whilst his kicking can be dodgey aswell as decision making e.g. Man city...

This. Forster has a bigger build which is useful and as you say making some mistakes that could have been costly had Agent Larsson not played his part so well. We won't know until they are together in training though <ok>

which is precisely why he should be no.2 next season <doh>. Krul out on loan because it would be stupid to keep him here as no. 3
