Player agents are ruining it most IMO.

The biggest "threat" in terms of top flight football is the clubs themselves. The amount of money going around nowadays is ridiculous, and eventually it will come crashing down.

Agents are only a 'danger' because they're trying to get the best for their clients, however that ultimately is the fault of the clubs for setting precedents by throwing around obscene amounts of money.
The players can only get what clubs will offer - Obviously it won't happen, but if clubs across the world agreed to cap wages to a certain level then the players and agents would just have to put up with it.

Blatter and FIFA's power over football is greatly overstated, and presents no real threat. Giving the World Cup to lesser footballing nations is disappointing, but it'll still get huge viewing figures and attendances, and won't negatively affect the sport at all.

It would've been interesting to see the poll outcome had the Barton/McKay thing not happened today...

Wonder why clubs are in so much debt?

    The agents are awful.

Football agents - most pointless job in the world. All they do is stir **** to get money for themselves. Players are perfectly capable of negotiating their own deals and if there was no agent fee they would probably get more anyway.
