    How I Met Your Mother

    or

    A nasty dose of the clap

    Personally I think a nasty dose of the clap is much, much funnier.

    Well that's not nice.

    I really do believe that a dose of the clap is funnier than that show

    He's just been rude to me on another thread for no reason. Some people are just like that.

    I've never seen How I Met Your Mother so I can't say but most comedy on television these days is awful so I suppose a dose of the clap would be preferable.

    It is a poor man's Friends except it is 5 people hanging out at a bar instead of a coffee house. They don't even try to write comedies in an intelligent way anymore. I think that is because of a general dumbing down of society. If they make jokes too intelligent people may not understand them.

    Well I wouldn't say crap but it was no Only Fools and Horses, now there was a comedy. RIP John Sullivan.

    In my view, Friends was little more than a bunch of twenty somethings then thirty somethings talking about a load of teenage angst. Who kissed who? Who's sleeping with who? etc. etc.

    Absolute rubbish.

    At least Friends didn't have the very annoying Alyson Hannigan. The weird thing is she didn't seem that annoying on Buffy

    Did you know some of the episodes were directed by William G. Stewart, he of Fifteen to One fame?

    <laugh>

    Friends was ****e anyway!

    As for comedies not being intelligent, that's because they are either produced by the overly-PC pricks at the BBC, who use our License Fee for such witty comedies as Miranda, or by American companies, which are from a country that has somehow persuaded the world that Family Guy is hilarious. It's not.
