Both will be monumentally wonderful because both mean liberation from a malevolent European influence.
Both are examples of those in authority letting down the common people. This 'take-over' of Charlton must be the sorriest tale in the history of inept take-overs. CAFC is a well placed London Club with enough infrastructure already in place to go up through the Championship and into the Premier League if it was managed properly. Selling it for a reasonable price should be as easy as falling off a log, not a thirteen month long farce. If the UK leaves the European Union in March next year without issues like the Northern Ireland border, immigration and customs being resolved, then the political leaders in this country and the rest of Europe will have failed in their duty to govern competently, and they should all resign. The Brexit wrangling has been an unmitigated embarrassment so far. Politicians behaving like a bunch of kids fighting in a playground.
I have a friend ITK, and he says Brexit will completed by next Thursday. Full story in the next issue of VOTV...
Looking forward to the big pro EU march in London today. Are they able to get Boris's water cannon out of moth balls as I'm slightly concerned that the heat may get them all a bit more perplexed because they're not getting their way. Had to chuckle at Airbus's declaration yesterday about ceasing manufacturing in the UK...…… just as they threatened to do if we didn't join the Euro.
