Barring incredibility's we have gained promotion.
Which game for you was the turning point which finally made you believe we are going to do it. Saints have been involved in a lot of very good games this season and some that we want to forget.
For me the turning point was against the MK dons coming from 2 nil down. The passion in the side that day echoed some of the teams of the past. When players really wanted to give all for the club and fans. It does not matter which of the players that you pick from that day, there was a certain passion from all.
This has crept into the side probably since the emergence of NA, and has increased over time.
Well that was my turning point, what was yours?

Has to be MK dons. True passion and grit got us through. However, I only started believing after Brighton :)

    MK Dons and Brighton.
    (Mainly MK Dons game)

Both have done very well this season and to come back was just fantastic and shows real unity between the players!

Losing at Walsall. I think the team knew they could never let that happen again.

Have to agree with CBK, we dominated without converting and allowing one mistake to cost us.
Valuable learning lesson that cold night and the team went from strength to strength

MK Dons for me. We always knew we had the players on paper. That day they showed us the team spirit and desire which has now gotten us back up to the next level and Pompey.

Gonna have to be dons, although after losing to rochdale that really grounded us i think and we are still on a great run from that!

I'd been pretty confident for a while that we'd get 2nd place. I reckon the 3-1 win at Bournemouth convinced me we were more than capable of catching the sides above us.

Huddersfield at home was massive. We had not played for over 2 weeks, were 1-0 down and the previous loss at home to Brentford had sent us down to about 10th in the table. Exeter away was also crucial after we had slipped up at Tranmere.

Apart from 6 weeks later at Rochdale of course CBK ;-p

Would have to say the Brighton game for me. With Huddersfield having won the day before the pressure was really on for us to match their result and thankfully we did :)

Can only imagine what was going through the Huddersfield fans minds. We couldn't shake them off, but at least we were in front. Every game in April was an important one, but agree that the Brighton game must have really shocked the opposition. NA says on OS that although we are nearly there (will the man ever admit we're up) he wanted to win the league. He's right, with our squad we should have won the league with Hudds in 2nd, but so near so far.

There have been a few massive ones: Exeter, Bournemouth, Mk Dons and Brighton. Brighton was the biggest one for me.

The Walsall game, we mullered them and lost 1 0 that was the wake up call.
