The 20 million Colombian peso ($10,640) offer to the popular former Parma and Newcastle striker, who is now 43 years old, reassures him that "with a little training" he could demonstrate another talent in his post-football career. Here's the letter (via El Heraldo): Dear Faustino Asprilla For years [we] have followed your successful career, which has made you a national icon invaluable in Colombia. We are convinced that the lifestyle you lead and the media controversy it causes is vital so we dared to make the following proposal. As you know, [redacted] is an adult entertainment site (...) And that's why we offer you 20 million pesos for a week as a porn actor. This is a unique offering, which awaits your prompt response. We are convinced that with a little training you could exploit another talent all of Colombia knows you have. That lifestyle they refer to includes a 2008 arrest for allegedly firing a machine gun at security forces near his farm. He also also previously tried to woo a pornstar while he was married and appeared nude in a magazine spread, so the offer isn't totally without merit. This could also bring a whole new meaning to his nickname "The Octopus." At the very least, Asprilla would make a modest sum of money out of the deal, which is more than Frank Lampard and Rio Ferdinand can say for their adult film debut.
