I don't think they've been announced yet (might be wrong)... Looking at the replays do you think ITV and ESPN might be attracted to show a possible upset rather then an all-PL tie ? You know what I'm getting at.......
Agreed - they will show the matches that will get the most viewers. I don't believe that Leyton Orient v Hull City will appeal to station bosses. They are in the league below us- it wouldn't be a major giant killing if they beat us
You're probably right - but the TV bosses do like an upset to televise. Bournemouth v Wigan might also be a candidate. I suppose it depends how many they show as well. Might be as few as 2 (one each ITV/ESPN) or maybe 2 each. We'll find out soon.
Replays at this stage don't usually get much coverage, probably only Swansea & Arsenal more ITV at a push.
It's been announced that Man Utd vs. West Ham will be televised next Wednesday with kick-off at 8.05pm. It's interesting that next Tuesday all the matches kick off at 7.45pm except Blackpool vs. Fulham which kicks off at 8pm
Manchester United? On TV? Never would've seen that coming. Unbelievable, give another team who deserves it the ****ing coverage.
That's ITV then ? ESPN will deffo show one if not two. Think Blackpool always KO at 8pm for all their night games...
It has been something like 7 years since a Man U fa cup game was NOT shown on live TV......so the sensible money would be on that being shown again! http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...-match-West-Ham-36th-row-live-television.html
CONFIRMED. Arsenal v. Swansea City Live on ESPN wednesday 16th Jan Manchester Utd v. West Ham Utd Live on ITV.1 also on wednesday 16th Jan. As a guess and with a shock in store I wonder if BOURNMOUTH v. WIGAN will be the tuesday Live game ? Best of all of them imo.
