The forum has been a bit slow today, not used to this level of traffic - gonna look into a new server if it keeps up. Anyway welcome, hopefully can attract a few more united supporters over the next few days. I've set the forum up but in truth I do **** all management, most of the posters in the past have been happy with no moderation so I've left it like that also - may have to change if we get too many people acting the arse.
Welcome!! Maltese Mick runs the site. I think I read him say he's currently updating things, so it may be the reason it's a bit slow. (I thought it was just me!) The fridge is over there on the left, but there's only full strength beer - no Miller light.
Hi MalteseMick. Good forum you got here from the looks of it. I think you should keep it minimal, keep your server costs down, like remove the ability to attach pictures and things like that. We can just post links to any pictures and it saves you any money you might need to spend. Alot of the little features of forums are based on kids forums and dont make much sense in an adult forum like this. Keep up the good work anyway and I have bookmarked the site.
Hey guys, just signed up to this! Believe it or not, I love 606 and as sad as this may sound it has become part of my daily life... I love having debates on here, and although I have had a go at posters over the years (daveunited for example I sometimes get annoyed with you, sorry) I still really like it. This forum is a great idea as an alternative and obviously it isn't perfect and identical, but good on you whoever made it, you're a legend for putting the effort in. Although can I recommend as an improvement, making it a bit more similar to the 606 layout? I know it's already the same colours etc but the layout of this is just like any other thread... 606 is so unique! It's so simple, this seems so much more crowded and complicated, for example my profile looks so messy compared to on 606! thanks.
Only 1 site on earth has opening and closing times. One of the points of the internet was to remove barriers like opening and closing times lol. Trade and services offered 24 hours 7 days all year long. Apparently though, 1 website didnt get the memo....wonder who?
