Does anyone know the current situation and state of Ferrie Bodde ? God knows we need someone prepared to shoot from distance every now and then..... Stereo
The last word from the official site was that Ferrie is "feeling" his knee a bit and has some pain in it. I don't think it "went" again, as it were, but we're all waiting with baited breath for further news.
On Radio Wales last night Huw Jenkins said that Ferrie was back in Holland but is expected to be back in Swansea this week to commence training. Reading between the lines, which I know can be misleading, but it sounded like he did get a negative reaction in his knee after the Port Talbot friendly, which has set him back and now he is ready to commence light training again. We do need Ferrie back but a fit Ferrie that can last the season and not a few games.
