Go down to Cornwall for a week this Saturday and doing a week in Alcudia in August.

Was going to do Rome in August but I've been told, by a few people, that the heat is unbearable.

Meatballs ( in marinara sauce) to that.

I'd rather be next to a pool supping ice cold grog.

Off to LA next week. Drive up the coast to San Francisco then back down through Yosemite, Death Valley to Las Vegas, then back to LA and home.
Daughter will be 18 next year so will be off with her pals then and for evermore, she wanted one last big family holiday before that, ie one that I would pay for...:embarrassed:

    Went to Salou in 1988.

Bus Stop, Crocs and Snoopy's are tree bars/ clubs that ring a bell.

I was going to correct the tree to three but thought I'd keep the Irish theme going.

There's a Chaplins Bar there and the midget compere was on some C4 programme a year or so back. He's a gay dwarf anarl or is he a Leprechaun?

Off to the states for a month at the end of the year, getting back just in time for Christmas.

Staying in New York for most of it, but going around most of the northeast states, with a quick visit to Canada mixed in too.

Enjoy it Plum. We are doing similar next April. Missing LA, so starting at Sn Francisco. We have a niece's wedding in Vegas so cos of timescales had to choose between Yosemite and the Coastal Rd. Went for Yosemite, stop off at Bakersfield, then Vegas via Death valley. We've tagged on New York after Vegas.
Let us know how it goes

Is there any reason to stop off at Bakersfield? Seems a bit out of the way when you could go straight to Death Valley and Vegas.

Already done a week skiing in St Anton and a week in France. I'm having some Accoya Windows and doors built instead, hideously expensive things. We may go away to Cornwall in the VW camper, if the body shop pull their fingers out <cheers>
