Quite predictable, especially the most expensive being pretty much all south. Surprised Leicester is in the top 20 for most expensive tbh

Would have thought London as the most expensive.

Yeah that’s surprising. Surprised Rotherham isn’t in the 20 cheapest, dirty cheap there. I live between sheffield and Rotherham, nearer Sheffield actually but how the boundaries fall, my house a mile down the road would have been double easily

Aye, a few miles can make a massive difference. All about the right postcode.

Its not actual cheapest housing though, it's in relation to earnings.
Rotherham is a very deprived area of the country so, while housing is no doubt cheap, earnings are low to non existent.

True, best way to do it as I’ve found is work in Sheffield and earn decent money that comes with being in a growing economic city and live just over the border where house prices were cheaper :bandit: tbf Rotherham centre is pure grim, but most of the villages a couple of miles or so out are really nice. As oppose to Sheffield that has a nice centre and a number of grim suburbs

Lived in 3 of the most expensive (London, Southampton and Salisbury). All have their nice parts, and not-so nice parts!

Durham is number 5. I'm happy with that. I've got an okay life here.

I know I'm biased but it's a very underrated place to live, it's beautiful here and some of the walks and scenery are as good as anywhere in the country.

I live in Huddersfield surrounded by beautiful postcard scenery. My house is in a Ghetto, Police helicopters and drugs, council estate pussy and good takeaways, love it

Sunderland used to be in county durham, until some bright spark came up with the idea of tyne and wear. Now we're stuck with those horse punching, dog molesting inbred ****s from north of the tyne.

I live in Surrey (obviously, I’m a Man Utd fan). It’s incredibly boring and there are a lot of twats (different kind of twat to me so we don’t gel). Nice scenery which is some consolation. I’ve been stuck here for 20 years now. About 9 more to go and then I’m off to the seaside.
