Managers and players make mistakes, its inevitable. But what if Murray hadnt sacked Reid? Keano didnt throw his toys out the cot? Makes you wonder how good we have it these days dont it. Top manager, Top chairman, Top squad...KTF!
reid should never have been sacked imo, well not at that time after a defeat to arsenal when we had 2 winnable games to follow (west ham and charlton at home). The best manager we had in my living memory and i've been going since 1976
I think, though Keane had a good run and upped our team from Championship to Premiership standard, he left at the right time. He's good at shaking teams up, but that's about all. Bruce is a much better manager, he can spot a deal and has quite good tactics. Saying that, Keane did bring in some good players; Malbranque, Bardo (though he's only started to show it this season) and Gordon (though a bit overpriced). He was good for us, but thank God he left when he did!
Sorry ronron, Riedy was too busy with the world cup cash to give a **** about SAFC, hence the panic buying of STEWART AND TORE ANDREFLOP, also outside issues, which Murrray had to address, we may not have a great name, but Murray tried to protect what we had, fair play to the man, as for Riedy good riddance.
