    Higher?

    Lower?

    Position?

Easily within the top 4 and most likely top of the pile. You can even pick out the games he simply wouldnt have lost.

We would have 12 more points at home at the very least.

    I laughed.

Seriously though I seriously doubt we would be 7th.

Probably top on around 73-75 points. With Liverpool on 62 points and Chelsea City in between

We'd of definitely been top with ease, Liverpool have the opportunity to go top today, which just highlights how average all the other teams have been. Every team that hits the front is to scared to keep a good run going, hence why the lead keeps chopping and changing so much. A Fergie side with that ruthless winning mentality would have put this league to bed along time ago:biggrin:

nonsense, Chelsea better this season, City better this season, Everton much better this season, Liverpool better this season. Southampton have been taking points from everyone in the 6 I think. Only United and Spurs have been the under performers this season out of the top sides, everyone else is better than last year.

imo United with their underperforming, have done two teams a big favour this season - Liverpool and Arsenal (one is in a title run, and the other will probably squeak 4th). Otherwise top 4 would have been United/City followed by Chelsea/Liverpool

The top 3 are playing really well, I think we'd be fighting for fourth with Arsenal and Everton.

I'm sure many players would have performed better under him, but some may not have, the obvious one being Rooney after their fallout last year. Rooney has been great this season, so that's a relevant issue.

Our injury problems would not have changed. Motivationally and tactically we would have improved, but those top 3 would still have been hard to catch. The fact remains that we need a major overhaul in certain positions...

    Agreed.

It all depends on if Fergie would have bought Fellaini or Mata or someone different but assuming he did then Liverpool, City and Chelsea would have still been better then us and I reckon we would have just edged Arsenal out of fourth.

Great manager as Ferguson is he couldn't have stopped Rip, Giggs, Evra, Carrick and Vidic being one year older. He couldn't have cured Fletcher. He couldn't have stopped RVP being any less injured. Rooney night have even left. Januzaj might have been sold to Juve by now.

Who knows, truth is he would not have won the league.

Just on the basis that you wouldn't have got six points off Fergie, and his shadow was worth a negative swing in points. against Liverpool every season.

fergie has never got inside Chelsea and Jose's head but he would have got to brenda

The top 3 are not playing really well.

Liverpool are the others are getting by.

Chelsea and city are hardly improved from last season.
