Where will we be in 15 games?

Here are my predictions for the games coming up

Fulham 1-1 Newcastle - Close game. I think a point is a very likely result and i think both sides will be happy with this result.
Newcastle 1-1 Arsenal - Perhaps being a little generous to us. I'm going to go with my heart and go 1-1. We have Tiote back, and i think that we can hold off Arsenal for a draw.
Blackburn 2-1 Newcastle - Bad feeling about this game. Would like to say a draw, but i think Blackburn might just nick it.
Birmingham 1-1 Newcastle - Close game. If we play well i think we'd get a win. A draw is my prediction.
Newcastle 2-1 Bolton - Very interestng match. I think us and Bolton are pretty much equal. However, i think we will nick it. We owe them for that 5-1 hammering.
Newcastle 1-1 Everton - Another game i have a bad feeling about. Everton play good football. They have lost the player that caused us the most problems last time, Pienar, but i think it will still be close. I've just got that instinctive fear of tall midfielders. I think Fiellini is going to head one home for Everton. Could go either way.
Stoke 2-1 Newcastle - We've lost a big ariel prescence in defense aswell as attack. I think their ariel threat could nick it for them, just like it did last time.
Newcastle 2-1 Wolverhampton - Wolves are very good sometimes, when against the top sides or fighting for their lives, but i think we will win the day.
Aston Villa 2-1 Newcastle
Newcastle 1-2 Man Utd - They're trying to keep the wins going as they are heading for the title. I can see us losing.
Blackpool 2-1 Newcastle - I'd like to say a win, but Blackpool play good attacking football, and seem to be very energetic when playing at home. I think they'll nick it 2-1.
Liverpool 3-1 Newcastle - I just hope Carroll doesn't score.
Newcastle 3-1 Birmingham - Win for us.
Chelsea 3-0 Newcastle Pretty much straight forward vicyory for Chelsea as they push for the title.
Newcastle 2-2 West Brom - West Brom will be fighting to survive, where as we will be mid table and safe. I think this game is going to be a draw.

So that's another 14 points added to our 30 to give us a total of 44 points. I think that would put us around 9-12th. Thoughts?

 

We are about to embark on a 15 game winning streak with Shola and end up easliy in the top 4.




























I said with Shola. Surely that shows I'm taking the pish... 14 games unbeaten.... 1 draw

you not think your sitting on the fence a little too much much there with all those draws?

I reckon we've shown enough to warrant a prediction of a few more wins in there. although i admit i'd be happy enough to land even this cynical amount of points.

 

Hopefully in 15 games time we will have finished in the top 10 in the Premiership and Pardew is hard at work spending £35 million

 

I can see us getting a lot of draws, Carroll seemed to win us a lot of games, hence getting us 2 more points each time against arsenal, west ham etc and salvagind draws against chelski, i reckon if Nolan can keep his socring up and with Ireland playing of ameobi we should be good for finishing 10-14th

 

Food for thought, over the 23 games so far we have averaged 1.3 points per game, based on that if we were able to carry that on that would give us around 19 points and around 49/50 for the season.

However with the loss of Carroll i agree those 3 points before could easily turn into only 1 or even no points.

HBA coming back will be a big boost and he can win games on his own (everton)

On the whole I would go with your prediction and say 14-16 points, giving us around 45 points and a top ten finish.

That 1 draw being when he's away on international duty in March's ACoN qualifier.

 

It's fair enough trying to predict how many points we will have on a basis of past games, opposing team's form and loss/gain of players.

Predicting our final league position however is far from predictable, especially considering how close together many of the teams are this season.
