Where do you guys see Ozil play?

Will we move our best player to the left (carzola) and put ozil in the middle or Ozil on the left with carzola in the middle?

Who will be behind them? Ramsey/Wilshere/Arteta/Flamini?

Or Ozil on the right and Walcott in the middle?

    Love this "problem" :)

I want Ozil in the centre with Cazorla (when Pod is back) and Flamini or Ramsey behind. Wilshere, Rosicky and Arteta on the bench and rotate. It's good to have really good midfielding options.

I'd love to see you lot play a midfield 5 of Podolski, Cazorla, Ozil, Wilshere & Theo

I'm sure your defence wouldn't be happy to see it but to anyone else that would be a mouth watering proposition <ok>

We have to have one of Flamini or Ramsey in midfield. Personally i'd go for Flamini as he is more defensively tuned and experienced to both Ramsey and Arteta, though i like both players, that is if we have Ozil and Cazorla in central midfield. One thing is for sure, we will create a lot more, but we need to keep our shape defensively and close down players like we did against Spurs on the weekend. We cannot afford to go back to the gungho tactics of the past.

When people start putting up their own team selections it just shows what a good team we now have

Indeed you do. I think we should both make some ground up on the Manchester clubs this year but I think Chelsea under Mourinho will win the league. Lverpool might be in the mix too so should be a good battle.

Honestly most are just switcharoos of 1-2 positions.

Our depth is still so bad that we don't even have real 2nd options for most positions. We are not fit to compete in 4 competitions, the injuries just so little into the season show that.

I used to say that as long as our quality in depth is such that Walcott is a guaranteed starter in our team we will never compete for the title. Now it's not just that he's guaranteed in the right flank, there is no-one ****ing there even if we wanted to bench him in games with tightly packed defenses, with not much room to move. (I'm pretty sure Wenger would still play Eboue ahead of him against some of those sides)

With everyone fit our bench is actually pretty strong.

Its just once we get a few injuries things start looking a little tricky.

Flamini was a useful addition seeing as he can play at DM/CM and as a fullback.

Our first 11 can take any team one-on-one in the league, but our squad depth is worrying. Let's just hope we get minimal injuries over the next month or two before the Jan transfer window opens.

I think you are wrong,we do have 2nd options for most positions. We have 3 international capped GK's,two international RB's,two international LB's,3internatinal CB's plus Sagna can slot in there. We now have numerous options in midfield. The only place I think we're lacking is up front

If Flamini plays well as the holding midfielder in Arteta's absence it'll be interesting to see what happens. You only have to remember what happened to Gilberto Silva

Why the hell will anyone play Ozil on the left are we trying to ruin his career already like we done to other former players he is a world class att mid not a winger.

I wsa thinking that too. Don't want to play Ozil on the wings, he is an attacking central midfielder that will create a shed load of chances for us. Him and Cazorla will orchestrate our midfield and provide our front three generously.

Back five picks itself pretty much.

    Then I'd go

    .........Flamini........
    ..........Ramsey.......
    Walcott...Ozil...Cazorla
    ..........Giroud..............

He's pretty versatile behind the front line from what I can gather, and has been employed on the left before with success.
