Coming up we have a run of games of:

    Charlton (H)
    Blackpool (A)
    Ipswitch (A)
    Leeds (H)
    Shef Wed (H)
    Derby (A)
    Millwall (H)
    Barnsley (A)
    Brighton (A)
    Birmingham (H)

I can see a lot of points there, so i wouldnt worry too much about how we do in the tricky ones coming up, no doubt we will lose one of them and have the 'NP out' shouts though.

    Optimist in me says:

    Charlton (H) W
    Blackpool (A) D
    Ipswich (A) W
    Leeds (H) W
    Shef Wed (H) W
    Derby (A) D
    Millwall (H) W (Wood 1-0)
    Barnsley (A) D
    Brighton (A) D
    Birmingham (H) W

    22/30 points

    Pessimist in me says:
    Charlton (H) D
    Blackpool (A) L
    Ipswich (A) W
    Leeds (H) D
    Shef Wed (H) W
    Derby (A) L
    Millwall (H) D (Wood 1-1)
    Barnsley (A) D
    Brighton (A) L
    Birmingham (H) D

    11/30 points

So i'll go halfway between and guess at roughly 17/18 points <ok>

Well we need to win at home and draw/win away if we're serious about autos.

I'd say your first set is what you should be looking to get given the teams involved. I think what you'll actually do is lose to Blackpool and Derby, but beat Brighton. (so same points just in a different way)

    Charlton (H) W
    Blackpool (A) D
Ipswich (A) W (Nugent to get the winner obviously)
    Leeds (H) D
    Shef Wed (H) W
    Derby (A) W
    Millwall (H) W
    Barnsley (A) W
    Brighton (A) L
    Birmingham (H) W

Obviously I'm just been optimistic as we won't get that many points

We've actually managed to get quite a few of the difficult games out of the way already. The only games I'm near certain we'll lose will be Cardiff and Crystal Palace away.

ok... but I never take any match for granted with lecester, more likely to win the tough games and drop a bollock in the easier looking ones...

If scraping a draw at Barnsley is "optimistic" then we might as well give up now!

I dont understand palace, i swear they arent actually that good, and Zaha isnt as good as Knockaert... (i mean that).

Though Zaha v Konch could prove all important if he is still there...

Too right he's not! Then again, he's English so he's going to be blown out of proportion. He's still good, but he's not our Antony!

he could hold his own in the premiership.

God knows his value, taking his age into account. Id say he is better than Taraabt (£20m to united when promoted wasnt it?), Zaha (£10m Arsenal) and i know he is older but better than Bale and the Ox (obviously when they were signed, not now). I genuninely cant think of a more able player who has made the step up. And to think Delph was £6m...

Zaha is by far and away the hottest property in the Championship. Not surprised a host of Premiership clubs are in for him. Knockaert has been one of the best signings this season, along with Aluko and Bellamy. Knockaert needs consistency and a little bit more experience. That said, he has torn a few arseholes this season.

We have to remember Knockaert is only 21 and this is his 2nd season as a professional and his first in England. He has been incredible at times where we have all been amazed by him. Just like at times we have all got frustrated when he has tried to do too much.

When Cristiano Ronaldo signed for Man U he was the same (Im not trying to compare them by the way). Always trying to do too much, not knowing when to try all the tricks and when to pass or get rid.

Knockaert will learn but I fear if we dont go up then we wont be able to keep hold of him

I'd tend to agree apart from the following: -

We seem to have a knack of playing really well at Blackpool, often winning, so I'll go a little more bullish on that -

I also think that Barnsley away is another where we should be looking for more than a draw and, to be frank, they are on a bit of a nose-dive.

On the negative side - Ipswich away has often been a grave yard for us and Millwall always seems to be a difficult one for us - a 3-0 home drubbing last season cost Sven his job
