A good interview with Kit, even if he repeats himself often and I’m not sure who he’s actually trying to convince. Key points: * 2 new signings still on the cards (Lewis Dunk at £4.5m is definitely one of them) * The current squad is too large and 3 (?) are probably still to move out (Mitroglou being an obvious one and have a feeling that Dembele might be another - Everton are said to be renewing their interest) * Scotty Parker and wee Georgie Williams still in rehab but progressing well * Won’t put out strongest team v Palace. Indeed intends to spread squad across that game and the Colchester one also being played on the 1st.
Would hate to see Dembele go, "not yet anyway" I feel that with more 1st team games under his belt more confidence, the goals will come, and with that a much higher price tag in a year or so.
