“This is my home, what I want to be doing, the club I want to play for, the shirt I want to wear. That’s it, 100%. I’ve just signed a five-year contract and as it stands, I want to be here forever.”
Andy Carroll

December 10, 2010
“Andy Carroll’s future was one of the items at the top of my agenda. He needs to stay. I have had reassurances about that, 100% he is staying here.... I guarantee while I am here he will be here.”
Alan Pardew

December 13, 2010
“I want to stay here – it’s as simple as that.”
Andy Carroll

December 18, 2010
“Andy has made it quite clear that he loves this city and he loves this club.”
Alan Pardew

December 20, 2010
“We have to have a big-club mentality and hold on to our best player.”
Alan Pardew

December 22, 2010
“I want Joey to stay... and that goes for all the other players, like Andy. They are not going. We want them to stay here, and that is something that we’re working towards.”
Alan Pardew

December 23, 2010
“In this window, Andy Carroll is definitely going nowhere. I don’t want anyone to go.”
Alan Pardew

December 28, 2010
“I told him, ‘It’s important you want to stay’. That was the case he put to me, and we’ll make sure he stays.”
Alan Pardew

December 29, 2010
“There’s a no sale on Andy Carroll, which is probably the biggest and best news we’re going to have during the window.”
Alan Pardew

December 30, 2010
“Tottenham are wasting their time (if they bid for Carroll).”
Alan Pardew

January 6, 2011
“I have said all along that Andy Carroll will not be leaving this football club, 100%.”
Alan Pardew

January 17, 2011
“It’s ridiculous. How many times do I need to say he’s not for sale? Well here it is one more time, he’s not for sale.”
Alan Pardew

Tell you what he has to be considering his position? When you read it you have to feel that Pardew has been made to look like a prize mug, and surely he knows that more than anyone? Already the alarm bells are ringing for me that if the money isn't reinvested (and it probably won't) then Pardew will have even more of a case than Keegan for "constructive dismissal".

He said Carroll's future was one of the top items on the agenda when he signed, I can only hope he didn't have an Ian Holloway clause for a percentage of the sale!!!!

Come on NUFC, front up with the truth..........TODAY. If Andy didn't want to go then don't try and make him look like a tw*t. Honesty please. And a commitment to spend 50 million in the Summer ;)

Pardew said all the right things to placate the fans. It's part of his job remit.

Let's not forget that he's also a liar. After the Hughton furore he states that he hadn't been approached before but somehow he's appointed within days and the link between Ashley, Derek and Alan is clear. They are old friends from his days at Charlton and West Ham when they would meet up at Dereks casino.

Hey Alan, Sorry to hear you were sacked by Southampton. Fancy a job? Don't like seeing you out of work.

Liars.

All of them.

If Pardew has a shred of dignity he should quit.

He won't though as he knew this would happen.
