Our goalkeeper Stekelenberg,was noticable by his absence from the MP training sessions, having queried all and sundry to his whereabouts,no one could or would not say. Is this injury more serious with the club keeping quite to save face, or can anyone throw any light on the situation. 4mil + for a goalkeeper,is no mean price to pay,lets hope he is back between the posts pretty soon and his past injuries are behind him.
In the 'Team v Palace' thread I said that Jol made no mention of Stekelenburg in his press conference today. However, outside of that meeting he apparently told his pal at the Fulham Chronicle, Jacob Murtagh, that Steks might indeed be available for selection on Monday. I guess we should wait for the internal video interview (probably out tomorrow) to see if Jol expands on that.
