Funny how all the mugs who were calling for Hughes to be sacked after half a dozen games have all gone quiet?!

I hope you're all either supporting another team or feeling very ashamed of yourselves.

Dunno about sacked but Imaz and Oslo hate him, Oslo I think mourning for Colin, Imaz not sure why. Fair play, they are entitled to their views. Only highlight them because they are posters I respect.

Nowte wrong with that. Its a far cry from the OP saying people wanted the new manager sacked! Maybe there was a few though I didn't see them.

Apologies Lone. Just remembered I was off-line around that time.

They must have been bitter about the sacking of COLIN or summat

His popularity goes with the results, last week the haters were slating the tactics at West Brom. It's an occupational hazard...

I think Hughes made a really good statement today by not letting Cisse straight back in to the team. Why should he be rewarded with a start after these red cards?

Maybe so Sooper. But I'd qualify your post by saying there's nothing wrong having a go at a Manager if you think he's made the wrong decisions. Nothing wrong with it at all.

Maybe you're right though. Maybe there are "haters" who will slate him no matter what.

It's understandable with the situation we're in after only one win in his first eight games but I think he may just pull the unbelievable off, let's hope so...

Under both Colin and MH we have now beaten 5 of the top 8, drawn with another, only Utd have beaten us twice. We still have a chance to get something from City. Wish we could play these guys every week, we do much better against them than the 'lesser' teams.

Absolutely right. Poster have to be constructive in their criticism and I think that most of us who have pointed out what seemed to be obvious mistakes have done little more than to make those points. In the same way that we have pointed out that Colin made some serious mistakes when he was finally given money to play with. There is no rule on a forum that you should not criticise a manager or a player just because he is your manager/player. If it is justified and provided that it is helpful criticism, what is the issue?

4 excellent performances at home in a row will count for nothing if once again we come out and play a negative game plan of preventing the opposition from scoring in our last two away games. We can't rely on other teams to **** up.

For the record, in case I am seen as one of the "fickle moaners" my posts have largely been directed at the owners past and present, and not the manager.

I still think that Hughes got it wrong last week with the substitutions. We shouldn't be afraid to call it if he gets something wrong but should also give credit where it is due.

Is it just me or has everyone started calling Warnock "COLIN" again? Didn't take long for him to start to grate on us again!

Perhaps somebody could trawl through the history on this board and name the names then. It's true that some were underwhelmed at his appointment (probably including me), some were unimpressed by early results (probably including me) and I certainly (and completely inaccurately) predicted that he'd walk before the season was out...

...but has anyone actually called for his head?

Swords, I respect what he did for our club, but I never really warmed to Warnock. Before he joined us I really disliked him ( though to be fair his worst behavior was some time ago), and now I'm reverting to type.......was very surprised we sacked him when we did, but Hughes' points per game record is significantly better and we have a better team, so Amit and Tony got it right from my perspective.

It was the Warnock lovers that wanted that.

I think Hughes will do well but that doesnt stop the fact that he did get the tactics wrong last week and it was proved by the total change after HT. It doesnt make me a hater.

But they didn't skinners, that's the point! On more than one occasion I was on the receiving end of attacks for using it during his reign.

    Agree with SB above.
