(No rude comments please ;) )

The Watford Not606 board has arranged a meet up for the Southampton game...and need somewhere before the game to meet and drink and talk and say hi to each other (coz we haven't met before!).

So, lovely Southampton fans, where do you recommend we go. Somewhere near the ground that is easy to find, not overly packed but not a graveyard either with some good beer.

And..then somewhere to get some good grub afterwards, get a little tipsy, and have a good laugh.

Thanks in advance for the advice.

Away fans usually go to Yates as its central and is usualy allocated as an away pub! Also away fans are seen in the King Alfred nearer to the stadium if its a low risk game! I used to go and watch Watford many moons ago as lived in Hemel !!

Stay in the city centre Hornette. It's only a 10-15 minute walk to the ground and as mentioned above, Yates (in the high st) is usually where the away fans meet. The King Alfred is almost at the ground, home and away fans mix ok but I wouldn't recommend eating there.
