Now that we have, subject to EFL approval, new owners, where would you like to see investment into the club?
Personally, the first priority would be to give Bowyer and his coaching team extended / new contracts, followed by a modest investment to retain Champoinship football next year.
I would then like to hear that the owners were going to upgrade the training facilities and invest into the academy, to try and shape our long term future.

get that plan that's been in place on the training ground done!

watching that mic'd up program on btsports the other day highlighted how bad the training ground is, bowyer saying "it's the same as when he was there"

They could start by burning a giant effigy of Roland in the centre circle. Guaranteed sell-out crowd.

Agreed. I thought the same thing. Sparrows Lane looks very dated these days.

    New owners wish list -

    1. Lee Bowyer - long term contract
    2. A decent transfer budget in January
    3. A reasonable although not excessive contract offer for Lyle Taylor. I see comments this morning about LT wanting £20,000 a week. That is just going to cause discord in our dressing room.

Medium term - build bridges with ALL our fans.

As much as I’d like to hear about Gallen phoning up Barry Fry, it’s pure fantasy.

We need to do some sensible housekeeping first.

That is giving Bowyer a 3 year deal.

Then sit down with the holy trinity (Gallen, Bowyer, Jackson) and come up with a plan to be competitive in the Championship.

I think Lyle Taylor will leave.

Investment in the training ground would be great, and will create a lot of good feeling amongst the fan base. More so than any gimmicks. I think they can save that announcement for a rainy day.

i'd see the investment in the training ground as shoring up the club. bit like investing £20k on doing up your house to sell it for £50k more.

decent contracts all round, for management, coaches and players and then go at it with a plan early in the summer. this season is over now - we'll not go up or down. put some long term plans in place and build slowly.

We could still go down @Sat In Greenwich

Only 4 points off the Drop Zone, and on a bad run.

the new owers wont allow it. they wont spend £60m on something that'd be worth a quater of that if they dont act. we'll sign 2 or 3 not injury prone players in january to get us to the end of the season.

I would like to see Lewis Page given a long term contract and investment in our medical dept.

I think you are right. It seems as if Duchatelet really did get his ludicrous £60m asking price, and Abu Dhabi are not going to be relishing a trip to Oldham next season.

If they do agree to an interview, please not Jim White.

    Mel Baroni perhaps?

I’d be happy with Scott Minto, who is currently chatting with Lord Lee Bowyer.

He holds his own on the PL board, in the same way that @Ponders Revisited keeps general chat on an even keel :emoticon-0148-yes:
