I can't recall any real stoppage in the first half and felt sure the ref would take the teams straight off as soon as 45 minutes were up. But that mystery minute may prove to be the most important of our season. We huffed and puffed for much of the first half but as soon as we were one up there was only going to be one winner. Couple that with the close call for offside for Mackie's goal and it looks like the conspiracy theorists can take a day off. Mind you, if the ref added stoppage time to make up for whenever Swansea were aimlessly rolling the ball along their back line then we'd still be playing now. The Liberty must be the only stadium where they need to provide beds rather than seats.
My guess would be that the ref had some seconds for stoppage, but we always have to round up to the nearest minute?
On the Offy now '....the extra minute was provided to QPR by directive from FA HQ to compensate for any perceived injustice whether real or imagined they may have incurred and any similarity to any living person is strenuously denied in whole or in part'
