Haven't any of you been reading my contributions to this site. I was away from the house for Wednesday's game and returned 10 mins from the end and was having a meeting with premiershiporbust. During that 10 minute period City scored the 2 goals to tie the match - so I got City the point and then I predicted a 0-1 result today and that brings my current tally of points won by me for City up to 4. So if anyone wants to know how City got 3 points today just tell them inver is our guiding light and should win the "Supporter of the Year" award. Have a great day but not too much fun please.
Thank god for that, no negative thoughts from you this week, and most of the team were here last season. COYR.
I will third this, don't think I could go through another week of him being doom and gloom the worlds going to end threads. Wouldn't surprise me if we see a "We're going to be dark horses, for Champions" threads though
Brilliant result, well done to the boys. Let's hope this means we are beginning to find our feet in this division....
It shouldn't have come as too much of a surprise - performances have actually been pretty damned good, even if the results haven't matched. Still a ways to go to find out our 'level', but if we continue to play as we have we should get more positive results than not and safety should secure enough (and whisper it, possibly more).
Can't believe Red Robin liked this post, when he left early on Wednesday to write a doom and gloom thread. I on the other hand agree with you NickH, the performances have been there just individual mistakes have resulted in goals this season. We will learn that this level teams will punish us, but Wednesday's come back showed all the fight in this team. Shame you missed it Red Robin
Exactly,ROD was one of few that thought we would win at Boro. But hey a fantastic and unexpected 3 points. 4 points this week, lovely jubbly.
I'm sure the lads took great heart in battling back for a point on Wednesday and took this into the Boro game. From the brief highlights on Youtube, looked like we played some lovely stuff and it's certainly a huge confidence boost to keep a clean sheet against Boro away. Kudos to the boys & girls who made the trip as well - I only did Boro away once in the Ayresome Park days and it's quite a slog. Journey home probably felt pretty good for them. A good week all round.
I think we are undefeated in our last six visits there. Well if you count a defeat on penalties as a draw (as I do )
