Everything started going tits up when he ****ed off to the Channel Islands.

If SL is serious about BCFC then he'll need to get his arse back to Bristol ASAP and start running this ship properly. If not I'd rather not have him involved in the club at all. Oh and he can take that twat of a son with him as we'll.

Getting his arse back to Bristol would cost him hundreds of millions of pounds as he gradually unwinds his holding of HL oh,and who are we going to find to fork out £18m a year to keep us afloat.

I understand the sentiment sydney, but it ain't going to happen and we can't afford for him to walk away...

With regards to your second point...

Given the fact that we're only going to be going for under 24, junior 'no name' players from now on, the club wont be losing that kind of money any longer - esp after 2015. It's also worth noting that we've managed for over 120 years without Steve Lansdown, and even with his involvement we are no better off than we were before. Same gate sizes, same hoofball style of play, same old ground. What has got better with him around I ask you?

In fact you could argue we're actually worse off financial speaking, because the ambition to get Ashton Vale going (SL's real motivation for investing in BCFC), is in fact generating more losses due to legal process, land rates etc with the project at a standstill.

Lousy business decisions on his part have led us to where we are, and by that I mean his seemingly total disinterest in hiring the RIGHT manager no matter what the cost. If that had been done when he sacked GJ then our situation probably would be a lot better, along with the bank balance.

Wrong managers make wrong decisions and we've certainly had enough of them and look at the rubbish they brought in hoping our fortunes would turn around but all they did was deplete the bank acoount.

Yes some wrong decisions have been made - every board makes them
Where would we be without SL? We lost £14m last year - to finance that level of spending without SL each fan would have to pay £80 per match
SL favoured Robins last year (as I did)

    Good point BCFC Sydney.

As much as SL has done for the club, we really are no closer to the Premiership than at any other time but we now have Hugh debts as well.

I truly believe the new stadium has tainted SL and his vision for the club, and maybe a new invester/owner is something to be explored! Never thought I would say that about SL , but he is living proof that money does not buy success.
