Who remembers shoot magazine and these league ladders/tables.

 

Absolutely mate, Shoot, Roy of the Rovers and 10p of sweets was my Friday afternoon sorted for many a year

Mind you, I am surprised you were still reading them in 1988

Shoot, then moved on to Sounds magazine as music became as meaning as much to me as football.

Viz was great

 

I've actually still got mine from somewhen in the 70's. Also a coin set for the FA Cup Centenary (might have been done by Esso). All the coins were silver colour except for Leeds (gold-colour) because they won in Centenary year. The silver-coloured coins have mostly corroded but the Leeds coin is still in good nick.

 

Used to read Match as a teenager. Local paper shop delivered it to my door every Tuesday.

 

Kerrang for me then moved on to Mojo when my taste in music expanded. I use to love Mojo's CDs.

 

Bought loads of stuff from their classifieds back in the day, gods knows what's happened to them but had a couple of rare collectors items in different coloured vinyls etc.

Them moved onto the Daily Sport

 

So you went from reading Shoot in your mid 40's to Viz? You are quite a late developer aren't you? No wonder you are still such a hound to the ladies
