Article from Shoot.co.uk relating to the team that beat Leicester 2-0 in 1995 and what those who played in the match are doing now. http://www.shoot.co.uk/category/features/qpr-where-are-they-now/
A good find Eamon. They've certainly gone their separate ways. Although, harking back to my teenage years, I thought Stejskal was our main stopper? They suggest otherwise. Also, Ready at RB??? Wilkins out!
Stejskal was before Roberts Matty. A bloke called Sieb Dysktra competed with Roberts around that time. Jurgen Sommer came in the following season and I distinctly remember him playing without any gloves. Leicester and Ipswich both went down with a whimper that year. It was a four down season and I think Palace went down too having been deducted points, along with Norwich who were 3rd around Xmas and dropped like a stone. Ipswich got done 9-0 at Old Trafford that season, still a PL record. Blackburn's tussle at the top with United was classic. Forest who had just been promoted finished third with Stan Collymore banging them in. I could go on and on about that season. It was my favourite season of them all. Remember it like it was yesterday. Good times
Good memory Swords - for me it's like pieces of a jigsaw that may not fit together. I remember the other two and some of the incidents you mention although I was battling A-levels and had discovered alcohol so that might explain my blind spot.
