Player Watch: Out of the players who have left Rovers since the end of the season, so far 2 have found new clubs! We already know Eliot Richards have moved to Tranmere. Loanee Kaid Mohamed has today made a move on a season long loan from Vale to Northampton.
Didn't rate Mohamed anyway so whatever dude good luck to Richards though one of worse descions to let a player go that we have made
But he left our club back in January. I was just talking about players who left at the end of the season
No he went on loan to Exeter till end of season then returned to us and we released him, sorry to nit pick
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/25504702 went on loan to exeter in october and then made the deal permanent in january
Another player to add to this list.... JJ O'Toole has today joined a massive club higher than league 2 which is why he left Rovers..... He has joined...... Wait for it...... Northampton FFS looks like it didnt work out for him joining a massive club above league 2!! he signed a 3 year contract too so much for wanting to be a championship player or higher https://twitter.com/caz_chapman/status/483642030082772992 https://pbs.twimg.com/media/BrY9Q8rIUAAicZB.jpg please log in to view this image
Ha ha ha and when they drop down to conference level next year I'm sure we will see him as I'm sure Northampton won't be stupid enough to include a release clause for relegation like we were.
Like I've said before Division 2 is about his level and this proves it he will be fighting in another relegation battle
I think Northampton will be around mid-table next season. They've got momentum, and are frankly better than what they were last time around.
Anyone remember Craig Stanley? He has just signed for Eastleigh in our league http://www.eastleighfc.com/2014/07/02/stanley-signs-for-spitfires/
Clarkson is training with Motherwell at their pre-season camp in Portugal Now he's an ex player for both of us - what did you think of him? I always thought he lacked a yard of pace and was not the best finisher in the world
cheers for the info he was frustrating at times but most of the time he was very good and on a good day he was the best man on the pitch. he was unlucky a lot of the time. and he always put in a good shift. what he lacked in pace was made up by his football brain. i do actually think he would have stayed with us this season as he was gutted when we didnt renew he contract but his wages would have been way to high but i think he could have been great where we are now. i liked him but he wasnt really played as much as he could have been.
ben swallow has found a new club. obviously not from our released list from last season but thought i will add the details here http://www.footballconference.co.uk/mobile/news/details.php?news_id=12927
