    There is a lot of selective memory going on regards to Wenger from some Arsenal fans.
    He finished outside the CL places two years running before he finally left, this slide started with him.
    Also Wenger backed Kroenke over Usmanov during the board dispute, and it was Wenger siding with Kroenke that made the fans come on board.
    So this problem Arsenal find themselves in, Wenger is very much culpable for at least some of it.
    The problem has only been made worse since he left because of bad choices by Kroenke and his croneys.
