When do you think the new owners [whoever they may be!] will officially be in place?

Rumours in Portsmouth are that we will be out of admin by Friday with Portpin in charge.

We do know that they met with the FL on Monday but there is a deafening silence at the moment.

I think it is imminent, although presumably the moment we get new owners and come out of Admin the 10 points will be deducted. i read somewhere we were going to argue that we should not have them deducted, so who knows?<doh>

I think we have to accept that the 10 point deduction will take place. How many times has a side appealed against a points deduction? #@%$ knows.
How many times has the Football League upheld the appeal and cancelled the penalty? As my memory serves - NIL.

At least we will be in plus points!

How many 'Chainrais' will be thrown onto bonfires in Portsmouth this year?

We have to be out of admin by January (12 months from entering it). If we aren't out by then liquidation is inevitable.

The argument re the 10 points is that the original CVA creditors representative voted on their behalf (which must be part of the insolvency act or Baker Tilly wouldn't have done it) - it's unlikely that the FL will want to spoil their 100% record.

2000 Chanrais - or perhaps 2050. How many will you be tossing on to a bonfire devo?

Well here's a little titbit that seems to have passed most people by:

Portco now claiming to be in the ring - Portco is fronted by Pompey fan Terry Pritchard (remember he was fronting the bid by the boy Lever?)

Second paragraph down on Pritchards Piece.

You can find the whole thing here

    Very interesting, 3rd eye !

Terry Pritchard (I keep wanting to say Pratchett <laugh>) states: "we then bought the land surrounding the ground". Wonder if that includes the car park itself, as I think I'm right in saying that Gaydamak Jnr. owned this as well ?

Sounds promising to my mind, as any development around the ground could well finance the purchase of the ground itself from Portpin.

"We will know by Friday who the winner is" - let us hope so, to put us PFC fans out of our eternal misery <cheers>
