I just happened to mention, that the likely hood would be they sneaked a win against us then slid down the table as their bubble bust,its all to do with fixtures as I keep on harping about!! And fixtures is what makes our position hard to swallow,we have had opportunities that we should have nailed and where are we BOTTOM, ..OK blame it on Keef, LJ and now it seems JCR..THE TRUTH IS... In 10 games KEEF AVERAGED .6PTS PER GAME, WE WOULD HAVE HAD ABOUT 28 POINTS COME THE END..........doooomed, but doesnt actually work like that... Now played 3 more games for nil points...to get 6 points we could easily do that by winning the next 2 ... (P15 Pts 12 ave .8 = just 40 dooomed but doesnt work like that Players, I cant find or re call any of us on here saying the summer additions were not what we wanted, the consensus was we now got a reasonable squad AND SHOULD FINISH 8th to 12th Today at about 0900 ADDY gave a report on radio Bristol...where he commented,( I wont go as far to say condemned) on the strike force..when a player of his developing quality, and I think a lot of us have him as our number one then it strongly reflects what is wrong and has been not for 3 games but for most of them.( remember a few weeks ago marv had a go and said the TEAM need to pull it around and they still arent) After 13 games and us believing we have a good choice of QUALITY strikers we should have at least 20 goals for, how many have we got nine... just 5 from our strikers, PLUS 2 for Addy 1 each for Marv and Kilko....I think ADDY is right they need to find an appetite, need to find some fire in their bellies and get angry..... DEMI says it might take weeks even months to sort things out... Clarkie says he is glad to be back is fit and raring to go....I think he could get good time against Barnsley WILL BE FUN IF HE SCORES OR MAKES A COUPLE...
NM for one is not performing at the moment. A lot of people have been commenting that 'form is temporary, class is permanent' when at the moment we can't afford to wait. I know it's a different level but look at the Torres situation, got injured and then everyone said he would come good soon. Chelsea are still waiting for him to hit the heights of previous seasons, and players like Sturridge flourished when he was dropped. It's high time we did the same. Pitman and Stead looked to have a really good understanding last year and i'd like to see them given a go, Pitman is our most clinical finisher and at the moment we don't create enough chances to have anyone else on the end of them. Nicky just looks like a stranger to the rest of the team and his confidence is completely shot. I think a lot of our problems are due to the midfield at the moment though, Elliot cannot pass, Kilkenny only passes sideways, JCR has difficulty beating his man but can cross, but Albert flys past his man with erratic crossing. If the service to the forwards was better then i'm sure we woulld score more, but currently they are feeding on scraps constantly.
....lol ABSOLUTELY one of the things I have been harping on about since game 7 NM needs a rest...some on here just dont get it, you do you have ..nailed it... 3-4-3 with Pitters and Steady along with Clarkie, when we are 4-0 up with 15 to go bring on Taylor, give Clarkie a break ! or any 2 from our 4 main ones now,
